Duathlon Champs includes AWAD

This year’s ITU Duathlon World Championships will be held in Rimini, Italy on September 27-28 and will feature races for Athletes with a Disability (AWAD).  They will compete on the age-group course starting five minutes before the first age-group wave.  The race will be start with a 10-kilometer run, 40-kilometer bike and concludes with a 5-kilometer run.

Rimini is located on the east coast of Italy, approximately 120 kilometers southeast of Bologna.  It will be the third time Italy will host the Duathlon world championships and the second time for Rimini.  Ferrara was the first Italian city to host in 1996.
