Bali: recent ITU Level 3 Technical Course

By OTU Coordinator | 03 May, 2011

An ITU Level 3 technical course was recently held in Bali.

The course included participants from both Oceania (8) and Asian (3). The decision to run a collective course (Asia /Oceania) was to share technical experiences as triathlon becomes more global.

The course was facilitated by senior ITU staff technical officials Thanos Nikopoulos and Enrique Quesada, along with one specialist subject being delivered by Australian TO Murray Hilder.

This three day course covered all technical material including rules and requirements when delivering and considering all aspects around ITU World Championship and Olymipic Games triathlon offciating.

Thanos stated that both he and Enrique were very pleased with the contribution and effort from course participants, this was the first time this particular course/material had been delivered.
