The Oceania Triathlon Union Council invites affiliated Member Federations to attend the

OCEANIA TRIATHLON UNION
2011 CONGRESS

4pm, Saturday 10th September 2011
By Teleconference, or at the meeting in Beijing

New Business
Member Federations are invited to submit items of business including proposals and topics to the ITU Oceania Representative by email to Jenny.Mann@triathlon.org by the 31st July 2011.

Agenda
The agenda for the OTU Congress will be circulated to each Member Federation by the 10th August 2011.

The OTU Congress agenda shall include:
a) a report from the OTU President on the activities of the OTU Council since the previous OTU Congress;
b) election of a new OTU Council President and Vice-President;
c) a report from the ITU Oceania Representative including a summary from the ITU Congress, summary of OTU activities, and a summary of expenses since the previous OTU Congress;
d) a brief report from each of the Members including their current board, number of registered members, number of accredited coaches, number of technical officials, hosting of major national and international events and representation at international events;
e) a brief report the OTU Development Officer and OTU Technical Liaison;
f) evaluation of the OTU Strategic Development Plan;
g) drafting of the future 2-year OTU Strategic Development Plan to align with the ITU Strategic Plan;
h) adoption of financial statements; and   
i) other agenda items. 

Delegates
Notice of the appointment of one (1) delegate shall be provided in writing by each Member to the ITU Oceania Representative by email to Jenny.Mann@triathlon.org by the 3rd of September 2011.

For those delegates not able to attend the meeting in Beijing, attendance will be permitted via teleconference, with dial-in details provided with the agenda by the 10th of August 2011.
